On 27 January 2010, the 65th return of the Liberation of Auschwitz (in Germany Holocaust Memorial Day) Agricola de Cologne will release his latest video, entitled: Memory Game, as his personal tribute to the victims of Holocaust, a new world order after World War II and the democratic development in Germany and Europe.

The video is asking also questions, while facing antidemocratic tendencies in Germany, all over Europe and the Western World, in general.

Agricola de Cologne is the brand of an artist of the same name. Like many other ingenious ideas, he was born from the destruction and chaos, and only under the condition that a physical person had been dying before. In fact, before he became alive as a virtual artist the concept of an idea needed to rise up like the soul from the dead body, like phenix from the ashes. But this did not represent the actual birth, yet, only the insemination as an automated act, causing certainly the strangest pregnancy on earth, when after quite a short time, much less than 9 months, he was re-born on 1 January 2000 as the code of a new, but anyway only vague artistic idea.Like an autonomous structure, clones of the first code manifested themselves into information and these information transformed themselves to the idea of a brandnew artist based on codes and communicating structures. What happened in sequence was pre-written according to a genetic masterplan, resulting his new living area i.e. [NewMediaArtProjectNetwork]:||cologne - a field of artsitic evolution under permanent construction, which will be celebrating its 10th anniversary in 2010 - www.nmartproject.net.

Now it happened again these days, that the wish of people was so strong, causing another physical re-manifestation of Agricola de Cologne in Hongkong in November, where he was invited to do so during MICROWAVE - New Media Arts Festival - 13 Nov - 11 Dec 2009, not to forget the smaller manifestations as time based art works on . Agricola de Cologne announces the release of a new video, entitled:
Sinamaica - Embarkments

Differently than other videos, the film is not focussing on the experimental aspects, but uses film material shot while the artist was visiting Sinamaica - a region near Maracaibo/Venuzuela close to the Colombian boarder, where aboriginals are living on wooden huts on the waters of the laguna of Sinamaica.

The film shows in three episodes how local people use the wooden boats as their way of communicating, moving and determing one’s life.
